About Ismii
The Journey of ISMII
By morning, evenings, and weekends I am chasing my ambitions. I also love powerlifting, metal smithing, hanging out with my besties, my cats, and generally having a good time while being surrounded by a strong community.
Ismii is still at the beginning of its journey. I am building the foundation, experimenting, figuring out lessons learned, and trying again and again and again. Ismii is currently focused on catering, hotplate drops, individual orders, and pop-ups with the long term plan to become a brick and mortar. You have to keep following me to see what happens 🙂
While this is my dream, I cannot do what I do without a great deal of support by people that believe in me, in my vision, and people that are ready to work with me to make it happen. I am very thankful and forever indebted to these loved ones.
Everything I pursue with Ismii will be Lebanese influenced. I am of the (very biased) opinion that Lebanese food is the best in the world. I want these flavors to be accessible to everyone! For me, that looks like bringing in Lebanese influence to the pastries and treats that are already familiar to the general population. It is not traditional fusion – rather consider it a personal and authentic culinary experiment to blend two different cultures and upbringings. Ismii’s menu will continue to grow and evolve. I am excited to see what treats people gravitate to and learn to love.
